Black Panther 2 has several tributes to Chadwick Boseman, who passed away in 2020, and to honor his memory, the cast visited his grave before filming began.

Joining the tribute were Tenoch and Mabel Cadena, who didn’t get a chance to work with him. “We visited his gravesite before we started filming and we had that moment as a cast. We went with the new cast who didn’t know him either. It was our way of continuing the journey,” said the actress.
Each of the actors found a way to keep the memory of the Gods of Egypt actor alive, The producer suggested that there shouldn’t be a number 1 person on the call sheet in order to keep his place in the film. “He was with us, he knows what we did. He inspired all of this. We honor him without hesitation,” added the actress.
